Group Travel to Oman

At WeRoad, we are deeply saddened by the situation in the Middle East, which goes against our core values of respect and sharing, as well as by the suffering of all the people directly and indirectly involved in the conflict.

During this time, we are dedicated to assisting WeRoaders who are in the affected areas, those travelling to or through the impacted zones, or those who were due to return. We are continuously monitoring the situation through local authorities, the home countries of our WeRoaders, airline guidelines, and support from our local partners. The safety of our WeRoaders is our top priority.

All our trips to the United Arab Emirates, Azerbaijan, Jordan, Oman, Qatar, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait are cancelled for departures between now and up to April 30, 2026. All WeRoaders departing for these destinations have already been or will be contacted in the coming days by our dedicated team with alternative solutions, such as a trip change or a 100% trip voucher.

All trips to other destinations worldwide remain confirmed.

The conflict in the Middle East is continuing to have impacts on travel in the region including some increased travel advisory levels and disruptions to flights through Middle Eastern hubs.

JORDAN, SAUDI ARABIA & OMAN

All trips in Jordan & Saudi Arabia are cancelled up to 30th April 2026 (including the Jordan section of Egypt combination trips), and trips in Oman are cancelled up to 2nd May 2026. These cancellations have been made in recognition of the current uncertain security situation in these destinations. All affected customers will be contacted by their booking agent. We are continuing to closely monitor the situation on the ground, and decisions regarding departures beyond these dates will be made in the coming weeks.

OTHER DESTINATIONS

Trips to other destinations around the world are continuing to operate. Travellers to other destinations should continue to follow the guidance of their government's travel advice and check with their airlines for updates regarding possible flight disruptions. Travellers transiting through major Middle Eastern hubs should contact their airline or booking agent for more information. If you are scheduled to fly through Doha, Dubai or Abu Dhabi within the next 30 days and you are uncertain whether you will be able to join your Intrepid trip, please contact us to discuss your options.

As the situation in the Middle East continues to evolve, G Adventures can confirm all travellers and staff are safe and accounted for.

With persistent flight disruptions across the region and elevated travel warnings, which can impact traveller insurance coverage, we have made the decision to cancel our operations in Jordan and Oman up to and including April 5, 2026. We are proactively contacting all affected travellers to advise them on our flexible rebooking options.

We are advising all travellers currently in the Middle East to register their presence with their respective Embassies in order to receive security updates. We also advise travellers to contact their airline to verify the status of their onward flights.

The safety of our travellers is always our top priority and our local team is monitoring the situation closely should any adjustments to itineraries on the ground be necessary.
